Here are some new things Ella can do:
- She learned how to open doors if they are cracked. Her favorite ones to open are the pantry and bathroom doors. She also knows that the bathroom door in our bathroom doesn't latch, so she just has to push on it to make it open.
- When Ella sneezes and you say "God Bless You" in a happy voice, she will pretend sneeze to get more attention. She also thinks it is hilarious when other people pretend sneeze.
- She can climb the stairs. She gets a little distracted by pieces of lint on the carpet, but other than that, she does great.
- She has been standing by herself for several seconds at a time.
- She growls. If you growl at her, she has the cutest little growl that she does back.
- She stands on her head with her head between her legs.
- She learned that she can bend over and drink the bath water...yuck!
- She has entered the world of climbing. She climbs inside our cabinets, on to the lower shelf of her changing table, inside the laundry basket, and anywhere else she can manage to fit herself.
- She signs "more". Although, I'm not sure she still gets the meaning. She does it when she's in the high chair and I ask her if she wants more, but she sometimes signs it even when she doesn't want anymore.
- She has been clapping for a while, but now she is really into it. If you say, "Yeah Ella!", she will clap. She also claps to the music. And loves it when Andrew claps with her.
Ella is definitely growing fast! She turned 9 months old last Saturday. Her personality is emerging more every day and she is quite the character. She makes all of us laugh!
