Ella's 6 Month Check Up

Ella had her 6 month check up last Thursday. She weighed 16 pounds, 9 ounces and was 25 1/4 inches tall. She was in the 30th percentile for height and the 7oth for weight...still a little short and round. But so cute :)!! Dr. Hammer said she looked perfect. She had to get 3 of her regular immunizations and her first flu shot. It was really sad. Andrew was supposed to get his flu shot, but now they have a nasal immunization, so he got to avoid the stick. Ella was very cranky for the rest of the day. She had a slight fever, but she was irritable. She wanted to always be held and it was continuous work to keep her from crying. I felt so bad for her; she had a rough day. The great thing is that she is a happy (on days when she doesn't have 4 shots) and healthy 6 month old!
