My mom (Grammy) goes in for a double knee replacement tomorrow morning. We wanted to take the kids apple picking this morning before she had surgery and was out for a few months. Every place we found for apple picking was not open to the public during the week or didn't currently have apples to pick. We decided instead to stay closer to home and go to Shaw Nature Reserve. It was the perfect day for Shaw Nature Reserve! Sunny, great temperature, and beautiful!
Ryleigh got to come with us, but Melanie had to work.
We walked around the wildflower garden and looked in the
Boscom house. We drove down one of the roads and looked around. We stopped at a bluff overlook and had a picnic. Andrew,
Ryleigh, and Ella had a great time running around and being outside. We ended our trip at the outdoor classroom. It was a great morning and a great way to spend time with Grammy. We all had lots of fun!!
