Andrew's Garden

We live next to an empty lot. Andrew has always played in the grass over there (because he can dig and do things he can't do in our yard). Ever since we started a garden in the backyard, Andrew calls the empty lot his garden. When Matt is working in the garden, Andrew gets his tools and works in "his garden". He grows stuff in there, waters it, finds worms to put in it, picks up the rocks, and takes care of it. He actually asked for real seeds one day. When the guy comes to mow it, Andrew always watches and says, "Oh, my friend came to mow my garden for me." He also gets very upset if there is trash in his garden. He has to pick it up and throw it away. He enjoys playing over there and taking care of his garden....hopefully no one plans to move there soon. Andrew does also really enjoy helping Matt in the real garden. He thinks it is pretty cool to water it and pick the vegetables.
