Gabriella's 3rd birthday was all about princesses. She wanted a princess party, no doubt. Her birthday was on a Saturday, so we had her party on her birthday. We started the morning with a princess breakfast....crown and star shaped pancakes, strawberries, and pink milk. Andrew got to join in the fun, too!
We actually gave Ella her birthday present a day early. Partly because her actual birthday was going to be a full day and partly because I just couldn't wait. She had been asking for a princess bike since Christmas, so I was so excited to give it to her. She loved it! She was so excited and ready to ride it right away. Aunt Melanie, Ryleigh, Madison, and Presley came over early on her birthday to give Ella her present....a princess helmet to match her bike. Ella practiced riding her bike with Daddy while I got everything ready for her party. Ella's favorite part of the bike....her baby gets to ride in the back and her bear in the front. She did awesome riding it!
We had Ella's party at the Garden Club Pavilion at the City Lake. It was a beautiful day outside. Her party was a lot of fun, and she really enjoyed having all our friends and family there to celebrate with her. Since pictures load in a different order than you attach them in Blogger, I am going to use the pics to talk about Ella's party.
Ella had a great time opening her gifts. She got lots of princesses, Tinker Bell, and Barbies....all her absolute favorite things, so she was a happy girl. She also got some really cute dresses, which she loves too. She has had lots of fun with all her gifts.

Ella and her friends doing the princess craft. We had crown shaped door hangers and I wrote the kids' names on them with either "Prince" or "Princess" in front. They had jewels and foam stickers to decorate them with. We also played a game where the kids had to find their matching glass slipper, which I had hid around the pavilion area.

The food was also princess themed. We had crown shaped sandwiches, star shaped sandwiches, star shaped wands (rice krispy stars on pretzel rods), and jello jigglers in the shape of different jewels.

All in all it was a super fun day to celebrate our little princess! She has taught us many things over her 3 years, given us some tough times, but most of all has made us smile and laugh so very much. Gabriella is a sweet, goofy, lovable little princess (and yes she really does think she's a princess). =)
