Andrew loves his cousin Ryleigh! He talks about her a lot and gets so excited when he knows he is going to get to see her. When we do patty cake, Andrew adds Ryleigh as who we are baking the cake for, he says her name when we say prayers, and many times if you ask him who he is calling he says "Ryleigh" (actually he says "Ry-wee"). Ryleigh is 9 months younger than Andrew, but the older they get, the less their age gap matters. They are so cute together. Andrew loves to hold her hand and lead her around. Once when I asked Andrew if he was going to have a girlfriend when he got older, he said "Ry-wee".
On Friday night, we took Andrew's truck over to Grammy's house so he could show it to Ryleigh. Papa had given Ryleigh a pink Mustang, but she was afraid of it, so we thought if she saw Andrew driving his truck, she wouldn't be afraid. At first, Ryleigh did not want to get on the truck, but once she was on, she didn't want to get off. Andrew drove her around the yard and she laughed and smiled. Then I asked Ryleigh if she wanted to drive and she hopped right over to the driver seat. She did a great job! She didn't even want to give the driver seat back to Andrew. It was so cute to see Andrew and Ryleigh driving around the yard together. They are getting so big and are such great friends!

Ryleigh always has a good time with Andrew too!! They are growing up so fast! I am just so glad that they can be close and will grow up with each other.
I guess riding with Andrew on his truck helped Ryleigh, by Sunday she was driving her pink Mustang! So thanks Andrew for showing Ry that there wasn't anything to be afraid of.
