Updates

It's been awhile since I gave updates on Andrew and Ella, so here they are...

Andrew is still doing pretty well with his potty training. We definitely still have to work on him telling me when we are outside or at the park. If we are outside playing at home, he'll tell me about half the time. When we are at the park, though, he never tells me. He went pee and poop in his underwear at the park today. I know he gets busy and forgets or he just doesn't want to stop playing, but you would think after a few times of going in his pants, he would just tell me so he could keep playing once he uses the potty. I guess his little brain doesn't think like that. He will also still go poop in his underwear if he is in his room for nap time. I don't know if doesn't think he can come out of his room or what. Other than that, he's doing great. We'll just have to keep working on those two things. Andrew is also talking up a storm lately. He has learned so many new words and now actually uses them to tell us what he wants. And as always he is a goofy and very active little boy. He is such a character and hilarious to watch sometimes. He's quite the handful, though.

Gabriella is also doing great and growing so fast! She has started sleeping or almost sleeping through the night. She goes to bed between 7:00 and 7:30 and will wake up between 5:30 and 6:00. She eats and then goes back to sleep until 7:30 or 8:00. She does okay going to sleep; she does cry some on and off and I have to go in and reassure her. Her naps have been a little bit of a struggle. She has trouble staying asleep. She'll only sleep for about 30-45 minutes and then she can't get herself back to sleep. Of course, then she's tired within an hour or so and wants to take another nap. We need to work on getting her to take longer naps instead of a bunch of little cat naps. She has been rolling from her belly to back for about a month now. This week she has really been working on rolling from her back to belly. She makes it completely over but can't quite figure out what to do with the bottom arm, so she ends up getting her arm stuck and gets frustrated. She's almost completely there. She will probably be sitting up within a few weeks also. She can sit by herself for about 1-3 seconds. She also sits really well with support from her boppy. I don't think it will take her long to be sitting on her own. What a big girl she is becoming!
